Ingredients
Scale
For the Big Mac Sauce
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup dill pickle relish
- 2 tablespoons finely minced white onion (or dried minced onion)
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
For the Burger
- 1/2 cup diced white onion
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Toppings and Serving
- Chopped romaine lettuce
- Freshly grated cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
- Sliced cherry tomatoes
- Sliced dill pickles
- Cooked potato wedges or French fries
- Sliced red onion (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Big Mac Sauce: In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, dill pickle relish, finely minced white onion, yellow mustard, paprika, and garlic powder until thoroughly combined. Cover the bowl and refrigerate it to allow the flavors to meld while preparing the rest of the dish.
- Cook the Ground Beef: Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the diced white onion along with the ground beef. Cook, breaking up the meat with a spoon, until the beef is fully browned and cooked through. Drain any excess grease from the skillet.
- Season the Beef: Lower the heat to low. Season the cooked beef with salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder. Stir well to evenly distribute the seasonings. Continue cooking the beef mixture for an additional 5 minutes to enhance the flavors.
- Assemble the Bowls: Evenly divide the cooked beef among four medium-sized bowls. Top each bowl with chopped romaine lettuce, freshly grated cheddar cheese, sliced cherry tomatoes, sliced dill pickles, and optional sliced red onion. Add cooked potato wedges or French fries on the side.
- Add the Big Mac Sauce: Drizzle the prepared Big Mac sauce generously over the bowls just before serving for that signature creamy and tangy flavor.
