Instructions
- Prepare Baking Surface: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside to ensure the wreaths cool without sticking.
- Melt Butter and Marshmallows: In a large pot or wide pan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the mini marshmallows and stir continuously until the mixture is fully melted and smooth.
- Add Flavor and Color: Stir in the vanilla extract and green gel food colouring until the mixture is evenly tinted a festive green shade.
- Coat Cornflakes: Add the cornflakes to the marshmallow mixture and gently fold them until all flakes are evenly coated without crushing them.
- Shape Wreaths: Using a medium cookie scoop or your hands (lightly oiled if sticky), portion the mixture into small mounds on the prepared baking sheet. Shape each mound into a circle with a small hole in the center to resemble a wreath.
- Decorate and Set: Press sprinkles or red M&M’s onto the tops of each wreath. Allow the wreaths to cool and set completely for at least 4 hours before serving to ensure they hold their shape.
