Description

These Garlic Knot Chicken Parm Sliders combine soft, buttery garlic knots with savory chicken parmesan filling, creating a delicious handheld meal perfect for parties or family dinners. Made with refrigerated biscuit dough, shredded chicken in marinara sauce, melted mozzarella, and a garlic parsley butter topping, these sliders are flavorful and easy to make in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

Dough & Topping

  • 1 can (8 count) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Filling

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or chopped
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to ensure even baking and easy cleanup.
  2. Mix chicken and marinara: In a bowl, combine the shredded or chopped cooked chicken with marinara sauce, mixing thoroughly until the chicken is evenly coated. Set this mixture aside for assembling later.
  3. Prepare baking sheet: Lightly grease the parchment-lined baking sheet with olive oil or nonstick spray to prevent the knots from sticking during baking.
  4. Create garlic knots: Separate the biscuit dough into individual pieces. Roll each piece into a small rope and tie into a simple knot. Place the knots on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until they turn golden brown.
  5. Assemble sliders: Once the garlic knots have slightly cooled, slice each one in half horizontally. Place a spoonful of the chicken and marinara mixture onto the bottom half of each knot, then sprinkle evenly with mozzarella cheese. Top with the other halves of the knots.
  6. Melt cheese: Return the assembled sliders to the oven and bake for an additional 5–7 minutes, just until the mozzarella cheese melts beautifully.
  7. Prepare garlic butter and finish: While sliders are warming, combine the melted butter with minced garlic and chopped parsley. Brush this flavorful mixture generously over the tops of each slider while still warm. Finally, sprinkle grated parmesan cheese over the sliders for an extra burst of flavor.
  8. Serve: Serve the Garlic Knot Chicken Parm Sliders immediately, accompanied by warm marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
