Description

This refreshing Mango Vanilla Iced Tea combines the rich flavors of black tea with the tropical sweetness of ripe mango and a hint of vanilla syrup. It’s a perfect chilled beverage to brighten your day, served over ice and optionally garnished with fresh mint for an extra touch of freshness.

Ingredients

Scale

Tea Base

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags

Fruit and Flavor

  • 1 ripe mango, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup vanilla syrup

To Serve

  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil Water: Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a pot to prepare the tea base.
  2. Steep Tea Bags: Remove the pot from heat and add the 4 black tea bags. Let them steep for 5 minutes to extract the tea flavor.
  3. Cool Tea: Remove the tea bags and allow the brewed tea to cool down to room temperature for blending.
  4. Prepare Mango Puree: In a blender, combine the peeled and diced mango along with 1/4 cup of vanilla syrup. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  5. Mix Tea and Puree: Stir the mango vanilla puree into the cooled black tea until fully incorporated.
  6. Serve: Pour the mango vanilla iced tea over ice cubes and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired. Serve immediately for a refreshing drink.

Notes

  • Use ripe mangoes for the best natural sweetness and flavor.
  • Vanilla syrup can be homemade or store-bought depending on preference.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less vanilla syrup as desired.
  • This iced tea can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • For a stronger tea flavor, steep the tea bags longer but avoid oversteeping to prevent bitterness.
